Eurotunnel has announced that it has decided not to allow lpg autogas vehicles through the Channel Tunnel.

UKLPG had lobbied for a change in policy but was informed that, as installation standards are not as high in some parts of Europe as in the UK, the operator was unable to ensure that autogas conversion systems were fitted to the proper standard.

Drivers of lpg autogas vehicles may still use cross Channel ferries and should contact individual companies for more information.
